It has been two years since the Community Assistance, Recovery and Empowerment (CARE) Act program began enrolling participants, and the number of success stories is growing. A total of 149 CARE Agreements have been put in place and there have been 23 graduations. Recently, 11 participants all celebrated their graduation on the same day.

The County’s Behavioral Health Services and Public Defender departments, Superior Court and other partners are all celebrating an inspiring milestone for the Community Assistance, Recovery and Empowerment (CARE) Act program. On Aug. 7, CARE Court held its first graduation ceremony.
