Government agencies, community groups and leaders from the Lakeside Fire Protection District were able to offer support and services needed to start the recovery process.

CAL FIRE/San Diego County Fire and the state are helping homeowners in high fire-risk unincorporated communities with retrofitting using ember-resistant materials and incorporating defensible space to “harden” homes from wildfires.
