An outdated motel in Chula Vista will soon be transformed into new affordable housing. Palomar Point broke ground today at 1160 Walnut Avenue, the site of the former Palomar Motel, to begin renovations on 27 new permanent supportive housing units.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held today for the Grant at Mission Trails, a 48-unit affordable housing development dedicated to current and former military members and families.
